CLEO Systems, Integrated Care 24 and Business Systems are delighted to have been awarded Highly Commended for Best Healthcare Analytics Project for the NHS at the HSJ Partnership Awards 2022. This follows a rigorous judging process involving a panel of judges from across the healthcare sector. The award was presented at a ceremony held in Westminster on 24th March.

Working very closely with the team at IC24, who are leading the way for NHS 111 providers, with Nexidia Speech and Analytics software across its three contact centres. The collaboration between Business Systems UK, IC24, and systems provider CLEO systems, has allowed for data-driven improvements to the service. The use of speech analytics has enabled analysis of 100% of calls and texts, providing valuable insights and making it easier to identify trends during busy periods.

The system also provides AI sentiment analysis which identifies how a patient is feeling towards the service received. Using the data provided by the system, IC24 has been able to drive and measure a number of improvements to the service patients receive, such as reducing the length of recorded messages.

Dave West, Health Service Journal’s Deputy Editor congratulated the team on their successful win, “This year’s entrants displayed a varied range of projects and partnerships, all working together to benefit the nation’s healthcare sector. On this occasion, I congratulate Business Systems UK, IC24 and CLEO Systems on getting highly commended in the best healthcare analytics project category, and I look forward to learning the future of their projects, now with the added accolade from the HSJ family.”

David Brown, Chief Information Officer at Integrated Care 24 said: ‘We are so proud to be highly commended in this category, and it is fantastic recognition of the amount of work that our teams have invested to turn an innovative concept into a reality. We have already used the data that the system provides to help us deliver a better and more efficient service for our patients, and we know that there is still plenty of scope to implement further improvements. As a social enterprise it is really important to us that we demonstrate social value and data that our speech and text analytics programme provides us helps us to do that.’
